8-bit rendition of it, amazing.
That was awesome. I think I listened to it four times straight. Very well done. Here's some more good 8-bit renditions.
Final Fantasy VI - Devil's LabFinal Fantasty V - Battle on the Big BridgeMega Man X - Storm EagleChrono Trigger - Battle with MagusChrono Trigger - Undersea PalaceFinal Fantasy IV - Final Battle It was listening to the regular version of this song on the soundtrack that got me geeked to first play FFIV, and it is still my favorite game in the series.
And I also want to throw in some Metal Saga. [grumble]We we no get more Metal Max games!!??[/grumble]
Wanted Person Battle Both the opening theme to the game and the song for most of your major boss songs. This song really got me pumped for a fight. And I also got to use tanks. That gets me pumped for a fight too. I like tanks.
Shopping Rock Any time you went into a town and there was a sale on at the shops, the regular town music got replaced with this song. Now this is how you let people know a sale's on. Also, sales meant half off everything, and since tanks are expensive to upgrade and maintain that's pretty damn awesome.
Collapse I wish I could remember where this song was used. I'm pretty sure it was in the battle with the main badguy's henchmen toward the end of the game, and if so I only heard it once and thats why I don't remember it I guess. There's also an extra dungeon where you can fight every boss in a row, so it could be from there, too. Either way, awesome song.
Last Battle Not technically the last battle, but it is the most important battle in the final sequence. The one after that you can lose and someone else will take care of business. The fight this song is to is the one that does the world saving, though.
