Looks like the first beta weekend is the 27th from what I've heard for those that Pre-purchased.

But...I am not in the Steam group...How will I know what server you guys choose?

Get your act together Luc! You have an account (one I setup for you, no less) =p

You need to get used to using Steam; the server picking is only really necessary if you plan on being on the minute they open the doors, like I am. If you aren't, then those of us who are will pick a server and post the decision here.

Also, I think our vent server may be out of paid time...so...maybe I can scrounge up some cash and get that thing going again. I wonder if it would be worth looking into using a mumble server instead. @_@

There was a news release by ArenaNet of the upcoming beta weekend.

Here are the highlights:
Open from Friday Noon PST to Sunday 11:59pm PST.
No NDA - we can talk about it freely with everyone.
Only Humans, Norn and Charr races are available, but all classes are open.
