Yup. Guardian can do healer, damage, etc. Let's just make sure we aren't all the same kind of guardian and we'll be good. 8P My GF is playing Engineer, so there's another non-guardian.

Eredon Terrace is fine with me. Any objections to this as our official server?

Eredon Terrace it is, then!

It doesn't exactly matter as long as we all end up in the same place :D

I'll probably make a water-specialized Elementalist myself~

Any server is fine with me, really, the possible latency issues aren't much of a problem for me. And name doesn't matter as long everyone else agrees on the same server.

And I'd prefer a slightly less silly guild name for our 'official' guild in the end.. I still vote for Chromatic Shift if Bear lets me. (unless I come up with something not-reused)

I hear you there Squirrel. I'm such a huge alt-aholic that I would buy multiple games or pay for multiple accounts so I can have more than the limit of characters on one account/realm. In RO I had at one time 5 payed accounts, and no less than 3. In fact, I was able to play 3 characters at once quite reliably and did so often in attempt to be as efficient at leveling as humanly possible. I would virtually never go anywhere without dual-boxing my trusty minstrel slave, Symphonic Sonata. On WoW I had two Cataclysm accounts so I could make enough characters to scratch my itch.

I definitely plan on playing a thief, elementalist and possibly warrior as alts. I'm undecided if I want to jump around in this beta or not though. I though maybe I might invest heavily in one for this whole weekend, and then switch for the next weekend. That way I could maximize the amount of exposure I had without being too watered down on multiple since the play period is so short.

As far as guild names, if I remember correctly there was a decent pull for Aggronauts, Chromatic Shift and Aggro A Go-Go.

I'm kind of torn between cool and light-hearted names. I usually gravitate towards cool but I think a light-hearted name is better at conveying that fun should be the #1 priority. I remember getting kind of a lot of flak for leading a guild named Fairy Tail when the manga for the series was still new, mostly within our own ranks from members wanting to be associated with something that had a more cool or dynamic feeling. In the end though, the name doesn't really matter; it's all about how people conduct themselves in the group.

Just keep in mind that everyone wants to be cool, right? But being goofy is important too! :3

Well, it isn't really that I don't like goofy (see Tera guild), it is just.... I don't know... I don't like the kind of goofy of those two names? Maybe?

Also, playing necromancer, I think. Dead bodies are just so much fun. I can build a fort :)

When I eventually get this game I will be playing as one of the giants cats and my class will be engineer, because I like the idea of being a giant furry tank with explosives. /heh

^I'll be making a giant kitten engineer at release as well :D

[random]

Anyways, something random but kinda cool that I just noticed:

If you've downloaded and booted the beta client to the menu screen, and typed in your email and password, you no doubt noticed the little colorful password verification thing. A neat feature in my opinion.
Well, I was typing in my password, and noticed that I basically got the Swedish flag xD So I typed in the other password that I often use and got exactly what the Italian flag looks like. Guess what? I'm Swedish and Italian! Yaaaay! xD

Also, wow Bear! I wish I had the kind of money you do (or had). I can't even afford to pay for one account, even without the monthly fees.

I'd like to play with you all, but I'm not even going to bother looking at Guild Wars 2 until I can get a better PC. I got burned a few times last year, buying The Witcher 2, and Star War The Old Republic, only to find that I couldn't really play them. So, I'm pretty sure it'd be the same case with GW2. But, hopefully I can play it someday, as I was a pretty big fan of the first game.
