Wait wait...so hold on. Apparently she is telling me that it costs points to do anything in this game. You get like 100 points a day and she used up 13 points for swinging the sword at some birds.

Okay, not really. She created a character (3 points) and 10 points to befriend Mistaque (she thinks).

Apparently Mist sent her a message, but she refuses to reply. Not because she doesn't WANT to say hello to Mist...she very much want to. But that would cost 25 points.

Double Dilemma? I think so.

Really, I didn't know that about the game, it seems like it's kind of defeating the purpose of free to play in a way.

It's a "free to play" game, but they limit actions to 100 points a day. They make money by selling players usable points for real world cash. Apparently, you have a maximum of 100 points that recharge gradually (maybe 100 points in a 24-hour period?) and after that you can't play anymore. It is account wide, not character wide also.

Going into a dungeon, for instance, costs 10 points per floor. @_@

@Fixxxer Yeah...I'm sort of thinking that too. At least with a game like Dragon Nest, once you use up your points, you can still play, just exp gain is a lot slower. Maybe we should look at free-to-play that isn't so restrictive?

Well star trek online just became free to play but I don't really know about any other good free to play games.

Anyway, when we finally figure out the game, is the same time good for everyone.

Huh? Points to send msgs? I don't remember that, though maybe there was for mails, easiest to do is have a guild we can all talk in.

Basically yeah, costs points to go into the dungeons. The game is a bit limiting when starting out, but the nice thing is that you can buy "points" with the in game money using the market. So it starts out more limiting but once you get started you can pretty much play as much as you want.

I can help out too when I'm able to play as long as people are still interested.
