I know it's strange that though it's called "open beta," it requires a code, but it's also pretty weird that the code is so generic and easy, why is there a code in the first place? o_<

Tera Online from what I hear has a really cool action based combat system, is visually really pretty, and has boring quests. -and you can make characters of a race that kinda resemble . XD
According to , the open beta seems to be only from April 20th to April 23rd. o_< -so I suppose if you want to check this game out, mark it on your calendars. XD

Yeah, I've pre-ordered it already, partly because a friend kept bugging me to play it with him, and will probably spend the next few months on this game~

Whoever wants to try it out should download it in advance -- the game is pretty big (25 GB).
It's also rather computer-intensive, so it might not run too well on older computers ()

I'll be playing on the Jagged Coast server myself, though I might make characters on other servers too after it launches.

Pie and I will be checking this out for sure. The combat looks cool and I need some MMO to scratch that itch until GW2 comes out.

Woo, Beta begin.. for pre-orderers (24 hours 'till Open Beta for all)

Oh yeah, I did sign up for this already. I just forgot to mention. Didn't preorder yet, though, because the extra day is kinda' worthless to me and I'd like to play it a bit more before I try to spend any money on it. Plus, I already preordered two MMO's recently (Guild Wars 11 and Secrete World).

Hmm...never heard of Secret World before. Pie and I will be playing the beta for Tera tomorrow/tonight though; I actually would like doing it for the Saturday play date if people download it in time.

Hopefully I'll be able to go to my buddy's house and download it. Otherwise it'll take me all weekend, according to the launcher.

Also, Jagged Coast filled up really fast and people can't make any more characters there.. and it was a PvP server anyway, after finding out more details the only difference between PvE and PvP servers is the random gank factor, you can still duel/GvG etc. in PvE servers.

I'd say play on Frost Reach instead, or some other fancy low-population server.

Or even Celestial Hills if you feel like dustin' your RP brain section~

I do like playing on RP servers, just so I have option later in the game after I've max out. You, know, so I don't have to completely start over to do it.

I also have to consider what server my buddy is though.

I can't play any games that I don't already have because I can't download anything.
