Welp, I'm playing it now. Not sure if I want to buy the full game yet, but I'll stick with it for a bit.

My character's name is Bigglesworth and I'm playing on Celestial Hills server. He is an archer of the Popori race.

Here's some Screen shots of him /no1

Too lazy to chop it up, so you get chat log and other nonsense too.

So... has anyone played the retail game? Probably not, considering Guild Wars is so soon. But I keep coming back to thinking about Tera. The combat just seems really neat. Dunno when I'll get the chance to check it out, but just wanted to know if anyone was playing it.

Well, at least me and Paul have the full game, don't think anyone else here got it though.

To be fair, the combat and combat alone is the only real redeeming point of TERA.. the rest of it is rather.. plain. And the only worthwhile fights are bosses and PvP really.. and the end-game content on that is limited, I hear many people have already 'beaten' the game with nothing new to do other than grind for gear from the same bosses over and over.

In my opinion, it's not worth getting at this point until they add more content.. and by then GW2 is already out, so if you're going to play that, then there's no real reason to get TERA ('less you have spare money and time to spend).
