7 seasons, 144 hour-long episodes. You totally should, it's one of my favorite TV series ever.

There's only 1 episode somewhere in season 4 that's actually an unexpected crossover with Angel, but other than that, you don't necessarily need to watch Angel.

Seasons 3 and 5 are my favorite.
