Best season finale, IMO.

Good god, person, watch the finale! I can't believe you went that long without viewing it. You will get spoiled if you don't watch it soon!

Yeah, the big army beatdown was my favorite part. Felt like that season went so quickly! There weren't fewer episodes, were there? And DANG, how can they finish another season and not have the first one on DVD yet? Not that it matters terribly, since everything is still recordedon the DVR right now...but it would be nice for the future.

Children's programming follows different DVD sceduals than everything else. You need to getting at least the third or fourth season before legit DVD of whole seasons are made. Before that you're stuck with volumes of 3 to 5 episodes and digital copies (which come out the day after the episode).

lol. Don't worry about me. I just finished the episode with Daring-Do. Dash reading is the best thing ever.

Yup, Adventure time is a couple episodes into the fourth season now, and the first Complete Season DVD still doesn't come out till July.

I think it has something to do with how quickly a children's show can be made and then canceled. Or the people that sell these things haven't updated their business model since the days of VHS tapes. Or something more sinister, like it is easier to scam parents into buying incomplete seasons that might overlap.

Although one legal way to watch the first season without (directly) paying for it is through Netflix. Pretty much all children's shows that come out on there are in complete sets, which is awesome. Sometimes not too long after their airdate, like with Phineas and Ferb.
