What? The dude in the mask is the same voice actor as Spike f***ing Spiegel and nobody mentioned this earlier? THAT'S AWESOME!!!

Also, I went and watched all the episodes that are online so far. Tenzin is probably my favorite character, but just because you can see a little bit of Aang in him (and his angry eye twitch is hilarious).

@ Kerreth: The darker look to the series is what makes me think the animation is a tad weaker the original Avatar. The characters designs also aren't as polished. I should have said art instead of animation, although I still believe it isn't as strong TLA. As you said, the blending of 3D/2D does not work well, but I still think the show has the best animation seen on television these days.

I just watched the second episode today, I think I'm gonna like this series. I mean, the addition of steampunk elements makes everything better.

Wow, I wouldn't really compare it to burnin' ships! I mean, there's still gona be tension between them, but I thought they handled thier relationships between each other pretty well, when you consider most shows!

Beyond all that, though: MAN that episode was hilarious. I think they should go against the norm and just have Korra end up with Bolin. I know they won't do that, but they should. Give the comic relief a break for once!

Given that I've been on Team Borra (Korrlin sounds better but everyone's using Borra) from the get-go, I totally agree with you, BUT it's been less than a fifth of the series, Bolin and Korra meshed so well and so instantly, and you can't have a good show without conflict.

They seemed to have closure, but still, go Team Borra.

Well, I could have linked this as the short description to Ep 5, but I think it's stupid. But funny.
