Funny how that works! My current playthrough is only my second
, with my first being years ago back in high school. I was still kinda green with RPGs back then and I was just as severly underleveled and stuck in a similar spot to you. I did eventually beat it, but my experience had be peg the game as the HARDEST EVER.
So cut to now, when I am playing on the SNES for the first time and I was prepared for a major fight through the whole thing. Like you said, though, when you grind a bit in the right places you just breeze
by! I'm happy that I'm not pulling my hair out like I was when I first played this, but on the other hand I'm almost...disappointed that it didn't turn out as hard as I had originally thought. Then again: that's how it goes! Your early RPGs are always the hardest when you don't fully know what you're doing (back before you turn playing RPGs into a science...)
