That's why I just became the guy that is known for saying stupid stuff, and somehow that makes it funny. Sure, the tell God to damn me for it, but they're still laughing. Plus, I'm pretty sure God isn't too fond of that, let alone actually fulfilling the request.
I'm not just any old Paul.

Sorry about that carbon tax, fixie. I've heard people talk about stuff like that before. I like the idea, though. It would help over here in the U.S., where we really need to give people an incentive to not buy a bunch of huge trucks and SUV's. It's not so much of a problem up north, but, down here in Texas, every guy and his mother has a pickup truck. It kind of gets on my nerves since most of those trucks probably aren't used to haul anything 99% of the time... [/endramble]

Anyway, the research is going well. I ponified a friend of mine and have a couple other drawings I'd like to show you guys, as well. I am also currently writing an intro for an RP on this one forum I joined a while back. It's pony-related, but if you're familiar with the show, you might find it pretty cool. If you'd like to read and critique for me before I post it in their RP forum, I'd really appreciate that. Just give me your e-mail and I'll send it to you, or I can just post it somewhere on here for everyone to look at.

When I load the comic home page on my phone, Bear gets cut in half! Poor Bear.
And the gif in my signature goes really fast.

Because the size I have my browser set to I see the left half of Bear and the Right half of Pie when I load the home page. I feel that this represents the symbolic unity of Man-Bear-Pie in the transforming phase.

I was doing some research on coal as a fuel, for environmental chemistry, and on the second page one of the results was a page on the minecraft wiki about furnaces /sigh

So I was driving home from work, and when I got over the car that was behind me pulled out in front of me and the guy in the back put his window down just enough to put his hand out and flip me off. He just held it there for a while, too. I'm a bit confudled as to why, though.

He was only behind me at the light, and once I crossed the road I got over to get ready for my turn, so its not like he was behind me for very long. All I can think is that he didn't see the five motorcylces in front of me. They were a bit slow to take off, so I had to wait for them. I can imagine that if the driver didn't see them he was probably wondering what this jerk in front of him (me) was waiting for. Either that, or it was just some person who wanted to flip someone off for no reason.

Now, I don't really care. It mildly bothered me for about thirty seconds or so, but I really try not to make a huge deal out of nothing. It's not like I'm gonna roll up and yell out my window at them or something. I just think it's kinda funny, in a sad way. Either they're spreading pointless negativity, which I'll make an effort not to reciprocate, or they're possibly pissing off some random psychopath. That's what really gets me. What if I'm some crazy guy with a shotgun?

Ah well, it doesn't really matter. I mean I'm not upset about it, I just think its strange.

@Fixxxer: Sorry mate. When is your next break from school gonna be? I hope soon. I saw you are stockpiling a bunch of Steam games like I am. Didn't grab any of the Magicka DLC, but we must play sometime, once I get a better lappy PC for gaming.

Speaking of the Magicka DLC, would anyone be able to recommend any of the packs in particular. I won't get all of them, but I'd like to get at least a couple to upgrade my characters from the get-go.

Anyway, I went to see an old friend of mine this weekend. He just moved into a new apartment (read: duplex) near his college, so he wasn't completely unpacked when I got there. Even though he isn't huge into games and is a graphic artist, we still had a pretty epic discussion about game design in general. He also gave me some pointers about college and how things will probably change for me over the course of the next few years. It sounded intimidating, but he reassured me that if I play my cards right, everything will work out ok.

(For anyone wondering, though, he's really into open-world games, especially from Bethesda, and NES games, which he still owns many of. We played the TMNT arcade port when I was at his house.) :D
