Ringtones

Because people really use the default ringers on cell phones. Hopefully this is different enough from the Game Music thread to exist on its own. Because you guys use non-game music for ringtones, right? Right?

So, I just switched over to using Venice Rooftops (1:24 on) from AC2 as my new ringtone, though ever since I got my new phone, I had been using The Courtesy Call (1:08 on) from Portal 2. For notification tones, right now I'm just using the default "DROOOOOOID" sound but previously I've used the Prayer of Mending sound from WoW and "Commander, you've received a new message at your private terminal" from Mass Effect 2.

I actually use a silent ringtone by default and give people I know different (default) ringtones XD If I weren't so lazy, I would probably add more appropriate ringtones from fave music and stuff for everyone~

Hmm...maybe this thread will inspire me to switch up my ringtones to cool sounds, I am kinda tired of default tones.

I always have my phone on Vibrate since I use it during work too, ironically all the applications on my phone still make sounds when its on vibrate/silent mode. So when someone messages me via a messenger app my phone goes "(high pitched shrill)beep beep beep" . So I have to turn apps sounds off or plug in the headphones for the phone at work

I'm just like you bear, I have custom ring tones for people too. It never gets used since I forget to turn my phone off silent during the weekends

Eh, mine just buzzes. I used to use ringtones back when I got my first phone, but I have to constantly turn it back to vibrate when I go to work, and a couple times I forgot (I work at a library) so it's just annoying. I don't bother anymore.
