Man of La Mountain

I'm starting to come to accept that the way that I choose to play games means that I simply won't be passing them in a timely manner. Keep up with all the newest releases, news and trends on what's popular? Not interested. Consume content voraciously so I can move on to the next big thing? Yea, nope. Get through over ten percent of the games we own? Don't be absurd. Games are meant to be played not, you know...played...in that...way? Okay okay! How about: it's not the size of your library, it's how you use it!

And yet, I also don't want to spend a whole lot of time online talking about playing games when, you know, I could be playing said games. Where is the line between having enough time to enjoy and digest them with intent while also not getting swamped with too much awesome new stuff to consume? Damn it people; stop being so good at making things! I'll never catch up until I can travel through time and live eternally...well, at least there's hope, right?

Fire Emblem:Awakening is a game that I've long been wanting to pass, but I just can't bring myself to do it. The hardcore side of me won't even entertain the thought of playing on "casual" mode...filthy...word! And yet, I'm not skilled enough to pass classic either, at least without some serious time investment. Resetting classic is pointless, it defeats the whole purpose!! And yet, playing the game on constant edge will sap away your life...look how old I am in this comic! Time hasn't even passed since the last one!!

But, you know what? I think I'm just bad at gaming. Pack it up people, we're done here; take me up to my cave. Don't bother me, hold my forest mail and deliver honey on a weekly basis please. Oh, don't worry about the comic, I'm just done calling myself a gamer...which I suppose is good because I guess the phrase is becoming incredibly unpopular these days.
